Representatives of the Cossack community several timesbecame participants in scandals due to unlawful use of force. In May 2018, several people in a Cossack form with Nagikes beat the participants of the unauthorized rally “He is not a king for us” on the Pushkin Square of Moscow, organized by Alexei Navalny. One of the attackers was fined a thousand rubles. The Cossacks themselves stated that they had spent those who attacked the opposition.
