In Russia, 5189 new cases of infection with coronavirus confirmed per day

Over the past day, 5189 new cases of coronavirus infection in 83 regions have identified in Russia, the operational headquarters reports . The total number of cases of infection in the country reached 887,536 cases.

At the same time, 77 lethal cases were recorded per day. For the entire period in the country, 14,931 people died from Koronavirus.

Most of the new cases in Moscow-689, the Sverdlovsk region-184, the Khanty-Mansiysk AO-160, St. Petersburg-155.

Over the past day, 3 215 people recovered, the total number of recovered patients increased to 693,422.

The Chinese authorities reported an outbreak of an unknown virus on December 31. The virus was discovered in Jun-a large shopping and industrial center with a population of more than 11 million people. The causative agent of the disease is coronavirus 2019-ncov.
