According to the head of Rosstat Pavel Malkov, the data of the operators will be used only as part of the experiment. “Rather, this is an opportunity to compare the data obtained in the traditional way, with data obtained, in fact, experimentally from mobile operators,” Malkov said. He noted that in the next census of the population, data from communication operators will be included on a full -fledged basis.

In September 2019, Pavel Malkov said that in 2020 the country will be held for the first time in the country, within the framework of which the so -called big data (Big Data) from mobile operators and authorities will be used.

The trial census of the population took place from October 1 to October 31, 2018, it covered 550 thousand people.

The All -Russian census of 2021 will be the last to use data collected in the traditional way.
