Open Russia coordinator Igor Rogov was released in Minsk "under the condition of immediate departure" from the country, Novaya Rossiya was told in the press service of Open Russia.

The organization added that it did not know what was happening to Artem Vazhenkov, who was also detained the day before.

Rogov and Vazhenkov stopped communicating yesterday at about eight in the evening. They were later identified in a video released by the state agency BelTA with the detainees in Minsk the day before. They called the video "Detention of provocateurs of riots." On it, security forces ask detainees questions about their place of residence and the purpose of their arrival in the republic. Half-naked people are kneeling facing the wall, their bodies are all bruised, bruised, abrasions. They answer questions with trembling voices, some stutter.

Rogov and Vazhenkov came to Belarus to observe the elections. Because of the incident, members of Open Russia have already filed a complaint with the Belarusian Embassy in Moscow, they also plan to apply to international human rights organizations.
