Several protesters in support of Sergei Furgal were fined and arrested in Khabarovsk

On August 10, the Central District Court of Khabarovsk arrested local resident Nikolai Vasilevsky for 15 days and fined several other people for participating in rallies in support of the former governor of the region, Sergei Furgal. This was reported to OVD-Info by Sergey Ainbinder, a journalist for the RusNews online publication.

Vasilevsky was found guilty of participating in an uncoordinated action that interfered with the movement of pedestrians and vehicles (part 6.1 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). He was detained on August 10 when he was walking to a store near his home. On the same day he was taken to court and arrested.

According to Ainbinder, the same court fined the participants in the protests, Andrei Dudenok, and a man named Intigam (probably referring to Intigam Mamedov, who was fined by the court on August 11 in connection with the July 25 rally).

According to Ainbinder, they were fined 10,000 rubles each under the same part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. Dudenok was detained on August 5 in this case. At the same time, Dudenok's meetings were held for two days in a row: August 11 and August 12. In the first case, the amount of the fine is unknown, but presumably the fine was the same as in the second case : on August 12, Dudenok was fined 5,000 rubles.

November 9 According to information on the website of the Central District Court of Khabarovsk, on August 11, Dudenok was fined 10,000 rubles.

In addition, the website of the Central District Court contains information about the imposition of administrative punishment on Alexander Kamakin and Pavel Kashchenko. They were found guilty of violating the rules for participation in actions (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The amount of the fine was not reported.

• The current governor of the Khabarovsk Territory, Sergei Furgal, was detained on July 9 by FSB officers on suspicion of involvement in a number of contract killings. He was taken to Moscow, where, by decision of the Basmanny District Court of Moscow, he was placed in custody until September 9. On July 20, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on Furgal's resignation from the post of governor and appointed Mikhail Degtyarev, Furgal's fellow party member in the Liberal Democratic Party, to this post.
• Since July 11, residents of the Khabarovsk Territory have been holding rallies in support of Sergei Furgal, demanding a public trial in Khabarovsk. The procession on July 11 through the streets of the capital of the region to the government building, according to various estimates, gathered from 5 to 35 thousand people. The police did not interfere with the protesters, there were no arrests.
