The Investigative Committee (IC) decided not to conduct an investigation because of the detentions of journalists Alexander Plyushchev and Tatyana Felgenhauer during pickets on May 29. about this with reference to the lawyer of the Apology of Protest Fyodor Sirosh. writes MBKh Media

• The next day, May 29, municipal deputies and activists went to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow and Gostiny Dvor in St. Petersburg with the slogans “Picket is not a crime”, “Freedom to Ilya Azar”. Similar pickets were held in different cities. In total, according to OVD-Info, 42 people were detained in Moscow and St. Petersburg , among them both people who came out with posters and those who stood without symbols. On May 30, the actions continued. The security forces detained 15 participants in single-person pickets.
