The court ordered administrative arrest for another forest defender on the Kushtau Shikhan

The Ishimbay City Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan arrested environmental activist Ruslan Nurtdinov for three days in connection with his participation in protests against deforestation on the Kushtau Shikhan. Ural writes about this. MBH Media".

Nurtdinov was found guilty under articles of arbitrariness (Article 19.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and of failure to comply with the demands of a police officer (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

• Shikhan Kushtau is a small mountain in the Ishimbay region of Bashkortostan. Local activists have been fighting for several months against deforestation for the development of soda and limestone deposits in the territory of Kushtau.
