One step from the secular state?

On July 30, 2020, the following letter was sent to subordinate organizations from the deputy minister E. S. Druzhinina . Did the ministry forget about the important principle of Russian statehood - Art. 14 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation “Russian Federation - secular state”?

On the territory of the Military-Patriotic Park of Culture and Rest of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation “Patriot” in the Moscow Region, the Odintsovo district, there is a unique museum-guard complex, which includes the main temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Museum “Memory Road-1418 Steps to Victory” (hereinafter-the Complex).

The complex is unique in that it will become the place of training of regimental priests and sisters of mercy who will work with military personnel. At the same time, the main temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which is part of the complex, is the spiritual symbol of Russia, glorifying the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Visiting the complex by citizens and guests of our country will contribute to the development of spiritual, moral, patriotic and cultural education, preserving the continuity of generations and historical memory about the great feat of our people.

Given the foregoing, we consider it advisable to visit this complex by students of educational organizations of higher education, as well as place information about the complex on the official resources of your organizations (site, social networks) in the Internet information and telecommunication network.
