“There are no more Belarusian special forces.” Videos have appeared on social networks of former military personnel throwing away their uniforms in protest.

Video messages began to circulate on social networks, in which Belarusian special forces threw uniforms and insignia into garbage cans, thus protesting against the dispersal of peaceful demonstrations in the country.

Videos, in particular, are massively published by the popular opposition telegram channels Nexta Live and Belarus of the Brain.

“I am very ashamed that I served in the troops, which are now beating and maiming people,” a former soldier says in one of them.

“I took an oath to protect my people, and I am ashamed of what chaos is happening now.”
