According to the Avtozak Live telegram channel, on the evening of August 12, about 400 people gathered at the Belarusian embassy on Maroseyka Street. People lined up with burning candles.
The police officers who arrived at the scene said that the action was not coordinated and asked the audience to disperse. The action grew into a procession down the street, after which the participants began to be detained .
After the protest was dispersed, people returned to the embassy again, setting up a memorial there with flowers and the inscription “Long live Belarus” made of burning candles. The memorial was later demolished.
