The Russians from the Wagner PMC, who were detained in Belarus, will be handed over to Russia by the end of the week. This was reported by Interfax with reference to an informed source.
“It is possible that the detainees will be handed over to the Russian side for further proceedings,” the source said, without specifying what kind of proceedings they are talking about.
According to the interlocutor of the agency, it is assumed that the Russians "will leave Minsk by air."
Updated. Russia is "making every effort" to extradite the detainees, Interfax was told at the Russian embassy in Belarus. “But it is still difficult to name the dates,” the diplomatic mission clarified.
