The court found the editor-in-chief of the “Pskov Province” not guilty of violating the “self-isolation regime” at the picket

The Pskov City Court found the editor-in-chief of the “Pskov Province” Denis Kamalyagin not guilty of violating the “high alert regime” (Part 1 of Article 20.6.1 of the Administrative Code) during a single picket. He told MBH Media about this.

“Our judge made an important, from the point of view of precedent, decision that a single picket is not a public event. The judge watched the video provided by Apology of Protest lawyer Tatyana Martynova. He saw that [I, Denis Kamalyagin - OVD-Info ] did not rush at people, did not breathe on them, did not talk, but, on the contrary, [asked - OVD-Info ] to simply stay away from me. I am satisfied with the ruins of the Reichstag today. It’s a pity that my colleagues had different decisions in similar cases,” the publication quotes Kamalyagin as saying.

• On July 4, in Pskov, police detained Pskov Province journalist Vladimir Kapustinsky and the publication’s editor-in-chief Denis Kamalyagin, who were standing at single pickets in support of journalist Svetlana Prokopyeva.
• Radio Liberty journalist and former editor-in-chief of Pskov Province Svetlana Prokopyeva was found guilty of justifying terrorism due to her professional activities. She was given a fine of 500 thousand rubles.
