About 87 thousand Siberians fell ill with coronavirus

The total number of coronavirus in the regions of Siberia reached 86.8 thousand. At least 1.7 thousand patients died.

The number of new confirmed cases of coronavirus infection over the past two days was 1483. The total number of infected reached 86826, follows from the regional headquarters on August 13.

Over the past day, 30 people have died (8 in the Altai Territory, 6 in the Novosibirsk Region, 5 in the Omsk region, 4 in the Irkutsk region and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 2 in Kuzbass and 1 in the Tomsk region). In total, at least 1736 patients died in the regions of Siberia, according to Taiga.info's estimates.

In Russia, more than 907 thousand infected, 15384 patients died, about 716 thousand people recovered. In terms of incidence of coronavirus, Russia ranks fourth, inferior to the USA, Brazil and India.
