A protocol was drawn up against a picketer in Nizhnevartovsk under the article of “violation of the mask regime”

A report was drawn up against Nizhnevartovsk resident Evgeny Pavlov under the article on “violation of the mask regime” (Article 20.6.1 of the Administrative Code). The reason was a single picket in support of protesters from Khabarovsk. This was reported by the publication “7×7” with reference to Pavlov himself.

The police arrived a few minutes after the picket began and drew up a report of an administrative violation. For violating the “mask regime,” an activist faces an administrative warning or a fine of 1 thousand to 30 thousand rubles.

• Since July 11, residents of the Khabarovsk Territory and many other regions of Russia have been holding actions in support of ex-governor Sergei Furgal. The procession on July 11 through the streets of Khabarovsk to the building of the regional government, according to various estimates, gathered from 5 to 35 thousand people. On July 20, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on Furgal’s resignation from the post of governor and appointed Furgal’s fellow party member in the LDPR, Mikhail Degtyarev, to this post as interim, Mediazona reported .
