In St. Petersburg, the police came to the tenants of an apartment building, who hung out a banner in support of Khabarovsk. This was reported to OVD-Info by one of the tenants, Oksana.
According to her, she and her husband decided to express support for the protesters of the arrest of ex-governor Sergei Furgal to the Khabarovsk residents and hung a banner with the inscription “Khabarovsk” on the window of their apartment. After that, two police officers came to them and demanded to write an explanatory note and remove the banner. Oksana and her husband refused to comply with the demand of the police, citing the lack of legal grounds for their demand.
A day later, a district police officer came to them, he checked the documents of the spouses and made sure that they refused to give explanations.
