The CEC of Belarus has published the final election results. For Lukashenko - 80.1%, for the Tikhanovskaya - 10.1%

The CEC of Belarus announced the final results of the presidential election, writes TUT.BY. According to these data, 80.1% of voters voted for the current president, and 10.1% for the leader of the opposition Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.

In total, 5,818,956 people voted, during early voting - 2,806,640 people. The CEC claims that 4,661,075 people (80.1%) were voted for Lukashenko, 588,622 people (10.1%) for the Tikhanovskaya, 70,671 people (1.2%) for Dmitriev, 97,489 people (1.67%) for the Kanopatskaya, 66,613 people (1.14%) for the cherry (1.14%). Against all - 267 360 people (1.14%).

All candidates, except Lukashenko, filed complaints with the CEC and demanded a recalculation of votes, but the commission refused to do this.

Context: Alexander Lukashenko heads the country since 1994, now its fifth presidential term is ending. Lukashenko said that he did not hold on to the “blue fingers” for the presidential chair, but will offer his candidacy for the presidency until she was rejected.

On June 4, Lukashenko told potential candidates for the president of Belarus that "they will not receive the country."

On August 9, the presidential election was held in Belarus. In the evening, mass protests of opponents of the current president Alexander Lukashenko began throughout the country. The protests do not stop the sixth day, thousands of people take part in them.

On August 14, Tikhanovskaya called on the authorities of Belarus to stop violence and organize peaceful meetings for residents of all cities of the country.
