In Khabarovsk, the coordinator of “Postcard” was detained at the exit from a special detention center

In Khabarovsk, Sergei Naumov, coordinator of Open Russia, was detained at the exit from a special detention center. This was reported by the Postcards telegram channel.

Naumov served 10 days of administrative arrest for participating in a protest that takes place every Saturday in the city.

Yesterday in Khabarovsk, the head of Navalny’s headquarters, Alexei Vorsin, was also detained .

• On April 26, 2017, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office recognized a number of organizations associated with Mikhail Khodorkovsky as undesirable. The list includes OR Otkrytaya Rossia, Open Russia Civic Movement, Open Russia and Institute of Modern Russia, Inc, registered in the UK, registered in the USA. Russian authorities believe that the Open Russia movement is related to these legal entities, and therefore is also an undesirable organization on the territory of the Russian Federation.
• On July 24, Sergei Naumov said that in Khabarovsk he was first followed, and then attacked by two unknown men, one of whom snatched the activist’s phone and tried to run away with it.
• The police qualified the attack on Naumov as attempted robbery (Part 1 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code). The police decided that an unknown person tried to steal his mobile phone, but was unable to complete his plan due to the activist’s resistance. Naumov himself believes that the attack was organized by security forces to prevent him from covering the protests in Khabarovsk. The coordinator of Open Russia recognized one of the attackers as a security guard for the acting governor of the Khabarovsk Territory, Mikhail Degtyarev.
