According to the personnel from the scene, several hundred people reached the spontaneous rally to the administration building. They chant "come out!", "Shame!" And "Azamat, go home!" A police officer in a loudspeaker says: "Your event is illegal <..> Feed the official notice and take the event calmly."

On Saturday, August 15, the camp of activists who interfered with the passage of special equipment to the place of work in Kustau was defeated by the private security company. More than 70 people were then detained. On August 16, clashes repeated. Activists published a video of how security officials in protective equipment and helmets beat local residents with batons. According to Echo of Moscow in Ufa, several hundred riot police took part in the acceleration of the camp.

The head of Bashkortostan, who arrived at Kuzhtau on August 16, Radi Khabirov announced the suspension of work until the end of negotiations between the parties. Activists at a meeting with Khabirov demanded the dismissal of the head of the Ishimbay district, but he replied that "this is his [Abdrakhmanov] land, he is a commander here."
