
The temporarily acting governor of the Arkhangelsk region, Alexander Tsybulsky, refused the election debate, citing "objective reasons". He wrote about this in his telegram channel. The debate of candidates for the post of head of the region begin on August 17.
"A trip to the Mezensky and Leshukon regions is planned, the inhabitants of which have accumulated many issues and they need to be resolved on the spot. Also, from next week, visits to the Arkhangelsk region of the leaders of the federal level will begin. After a conversation with Vladimir Vladimirovich, specific instructions that need to be worked out together with the Government of the Russian Federation. As you understand, most of them concerns the solution to our acute problems," Tsybesky wrote.
The acting governor apologized for the forced absence on the debate and wished the candidates success.
