The judge of the Presnensky district court of Moscow Irina Zubova was fined Vladislav Barabanova and Alexander Kalistratov, participants in single pickets in support of other detainees on pickets. This was reported by lawyers from the OVD-info, Vasily Kushnir, who represented Babanova’s interests in court, and Maria Eismont, who defended Kalistratov and Barabova.
Judge Zubova recognized Kalistratov and Barabanov guilty of two cases at once on a repeated violation of the rules in the action (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) due to single pickets that passed on June 1 and 5 near the building of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Petrovka.
Kalistratova judge appointed a fine of 250 thousand rubles for each case. Barabanov in the first case was fined 200 thousand, in the second - 250.
Kushnir said that he stated several petitions at the meeting: on the conduct of the trial of the court session, on the call of police officers for interrogation and calling the prosecutor to maintain the prosecution. The court satisfied only one of them: about the call of the police.
“The police interrogated. Employees could not remember <...> Barabanova. They said that, perhaps, he was [to the action]: “We delivered everyone to the department,” the lawyer Kushnir reports the testimony of the police.
