The Moscow City Court upheld 1,000-ruble fines against three protesters against the construction of the South-East Expressway. Alexander Rostovsky, Vadim Belotelov and Pavel Bukhshtab were charged with an article on disobedience to the lawful demand of a police officer (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). They were defended by OVD-Info lawyer Daria Aksyonova.
- On March 19, 2020, more than 60 people were detained at the Moskvorechye railway platform. Environmental activists opposed the construction of the South-Eastern Expressway on the territory of the radioactive burial ground. In the wake of the protests, law enforcement officers opened a criminal case on damage to the property of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Radon, which is engaged in radiation monitoring, removal and transportation of radioactive waste from the construction site.
