"Medusa": in Minsk, on the day of the election, a programmer from St. Petersburg disappeared

The St. Petersburg programmer Mikhail Dorozhkin disappeared in Minsk on the main day of the presidential election in Belarus on August 9, Medusa reports. According to the publication, Dorozhkin was visiting friends and in the evening was supposed to go to the east of Belarus.

Eyewitnesses report that Dorozhkina was detained. He was stopped "at the railway station; in the backpack, the detainee found a bottle of champagne, a train ticket and a stick of sausage." It is not known where Dorozhkin is now. He did not get in touch within 10 days.

Dorozhkin's friends, citing the words of other detainees in Minsk, say that the Russian was seen by the Center for the insulation of offenders (CIP) in the alley of the surroundings. One of the detainees told Meduza that Dorozhkin was accused of disobedience to the police and drunk stay in a public place. One of Dorozhkin's friends noted that the Petersburger does not drink alcohol.

Another Russian cellmate said that on August 13, the court arrested him for 7 days, and later on another protocol - was arrested for another 14 days. “In total, it turned out 21 days,” the interlocutor said. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs learned about the disappearance of Dorozhkin from his family. “But they never received a response to the official request for the whereabouts of Mikhail. On August 13, the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that he [in the TSIP] on the surroundings,” said Anna Dorozhkin's wife.

The main election day in Belarus took place on August 9.
