Alexei Abzianidze, a member of the Alliance of Doctors, who came to the prosecutor's office to get acquainted with the documents on his complaint, was detained in St. Petersburg. This was reported to OVD-Info by his friend Eduard Shitik.
Abzianidze was detained in the building of the prosecutor's office of St. Petersburg under the pretext that he was without a mask. Shitik reports that Abzianidze was wearing a mask.
Abzianidze is conducting investigations into falsifications in the field of medicine, in connection with which he came to the city prosecutor's office to familiarize himself with the documents on his application and to get an appointment with the prosecutor.
Abzianidze himself contacted OVD-Info and said that he had been taken to the 1st police department. The prosecutor on duty called law enforcement officers when he saw that Abzianidze was filming. The police told him that they were charged with an article on hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
21:30 Abzianidze was released from the police department with a protocol on petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses): he allegedly conducted “unauthorized video recording of an official”, refused to wear a mask, insulted the prosecutor on duty, and violated public order.
