The Nizhny Novgorod activist was added almost a month after three -day arrest for another two days

For five days, the Nizhny Novgorod District Court arrested civil activist Maxim Alibaev, detained for a single picket in support of an unregistered candidate for the State Duma. He had already served the first three days at the end of July. This was announced by the OMD-Info by the chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod Memorial Arkady Galker.

Alibaev spent his picket against the NEVENT of the candidate from Yabloko, in elections to the city Duma, on July 26. The police approached him and demanded to present a passport, and after his refusal they detained.

The next day, the court found him guilty of disobedience to police officers (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and arrested for three days . After some time, the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court canceled this decision and corrected the case for a new consideration. The reason was that Alibaev is a member of the PEC with the right of a decisive voice, and bringing him to administrative responsibility only from the sanction of the prosecutor.

A second consideration of the case was carried out by Judge Zhanna Senkin. She made the first decision on the arrest of Alibaev. This time she decided to increase the period of administrative arrest to five days. Given the already served punishment, Alibaev will spend another two days in the special reception.

Alibaeva was defended by the lawyer of the “protest apology” Arkady Schindyapin.
