The coordinator of Navalny’s headquarters in Kurgan, Alexei Schwartz, was given three summonses to the military registration and enlistment office after interrogation by the Investigative Committee. This was reported by the publication “Ural. MBH Media".
Schwartz was summoned to the Investigative Committee for questioning as part of a pre-investigation check in a criminal case of evasion of military service (Article 328 of the Criminal Code). Two weeks before, he answered the investigator’s questions in a correspondence on VKontakte. After the interrogation, he was given three summonses to the military registration and enlistment office.
“The first agenda concerns clarification of documents for military registration, then I am called to a meeting of the draft commission, as well as to undergo a medical examination. This time the summonses were not overdue. I said that I am not hiding from military service. Now I plan to send a request to the Investigative Committee to find out whether a criminal case has been opened against me for evading service,” the publication reports Schwartz as saying.
Previously, the coordinator of Navalny’s Kurgan headquarters was threatened with the initiation of a criminal case under the article on evasion of military service and they tried to serve an overdue summons to the military registration and enlistment office.
