Almost 92 thousand Siberians became infected with coronavirus

The number of patients with coronavirus in the regions of Siberia exceeded 91 thousand. At least 1875 patients died.

Coronavirus infection was detected in 1309 residents of Siberia in two days. The total number of infected has reached 91818, follows from the data of regional and federal operational headquarters.

In two days, 50 patients died. In total, at least 1875 Siberians died from the infection.

At the same time, Rosstat data shows that the authorities do not always report coronavirus-related deaths. Most of all, the statistics could be underestimated in the Omsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk regions and Tuva.

In Russia, more than 942.1 thousand infected, 16099 patients died, about 755.5 thousand people recovered. In terms of incidence of coronavirus, Russia ranks fourth, behind the United States, Brazil and India.
