In Bashkiria, a court imposed an eight thousand ruble fine on a former employee of a shelter for children and teenagers. This was reported by the Republican Department of the Investigative Committee.
The 22-year-old girl was found guilty under Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Failure to fulfill obligations to raise a minor). Punishment under this article provides for a fine of up to 100 thousand rubles, as well as imprisonment for up to three years.
According to investigators, in May the accused acted as a teacher of a junior group in a social shelter. She abused children who, in her opinion, violated discipline, the department noted.
So, the girl taped the mouth of a nine-year-old pupil with tape, hit the girl on the hands with a ruler and threatened to beat her with an extension cord. She loudly shouted at the child and used obscene language, the Investigative Committee emphasized.
In addition, the accused provoked a four-year-old girl to hit a three-year-old boy. Sherecorded her actions on videos, which she published on social networks. The employee accompanied the videos with captions: “A little about the wonderful work” and “I’m one of those teachers who know that a student will grow up to be a prostitute.”
“As a result of the criminal actions of the accused, the young pupils suffered physical pain and moral suffering,” the Investigative Committee believes. The children received psychological assistance.
The girl admitted guilt and repented. According to the department, she was hired for the position without the appropriate education, and she should not have been allowed to work with young children. The director of the social shelter was dismissed at his own request, the Investigative Committee clarified.
