-Vladimir, spokesman for Navalny Kira Yarmysh, said that already on an airplane, Alexei asked her a napkin,-he had evaporal. Then, when he went to the toilet, he lost consciousness. If you recall what happened to you twice when you experienced poisoning, did you have the same symptoms?
-I have some kind of terrible groin day, because everything that I see and read (I, of course, in touch with my family and friends, close to Alexei), is all one to one coincides with the symptoms that I had with both poisoning. I remember that in both cases I began to sweat hard, it was hard to breathe.
This is very scary: because you are trying to make a physical movement in order to breathe air, and it doesn’t work out - nothing comes in. He begins to tear right away, and then powerlessness is complete.
But I turned off quite quickly and the first time and the second. And before the plane is straight. I did not have time to sit on the plane, and Alexey managed to. By what I see now, coincidences are accurate, maybe even the same substance is the same.
- In your case, the substance was never defined?
“The doctors said to my wife that I had a chance to survive five percent, so they had a priority not to find out, but to save my life, for which I would be infinitely grateful to them until the end of my days. The investigating authorities must investigate. My lawyer Vadim Prokhorov and I in 2015 and 2017 (after both poisoning) submitted relevant statements to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation so that a criminal case was instituted to be attempted for murder based on political hatred.
- And what was the reaction of the Investigative Committee?
- We are talking with you now in August 2020 - there is still no answer. There is not a criminal case, there is no refusal to initiate. There is simply no answer. This is to the question of the causes of poisoning. But in my case there is an even more amazing story: I can’t tell you that I expected that the Russian Investigative Committee would investigate an attempt on an opposition policy. We see how they investigate (in quotation marks) the murder of Boris Nemtsov. But after the second poisoning is 2017 - my wife managed to get blood samples, and she took them to America to the FBI laboratory, which is considered the best toxicological laboratory in the world.
They conducted some kind of tests, after which their results were classified and did not give them to me nor the Congress members for numerous requests, including the deceased Senator John McCain.
At the beginning of this year, I had to go to the extreme measure and submit to the American court against the FBI. In order for the court to oblige them to give me the results of my own analyzes. It was not only important for me to get these results out of personal interest. And in order to once and for all people stop saying: “We don’t know that it was, or maybe he ate or crossed something.” We see what has happened to Alexei now, and I hope that those bureaucrats who refuse to give results for three years will think at least a little.
- When it became known about Alexei's poisoning, there really were reports that he allegedly drank the day before. Kira Yarmys denied this.
- This is already a clear handwriting. When Yushchenko was poisoned, the Kremlin propagandists began to say that he did an unsuccessful plastic surgery. When Litvinenko was killed, they began to throw away that he allegedly traded Polonia and accidentally swallowed something. When I was poisoned, they also began to shout that I had crossed some pills. This is their developed clear dungeon.
- If it was deliberate poisoning, then for what purpose? In your opinion, why was this done - private revenge for investigations, intimidation on the eve of the elections, or what?
- Absolutely I have no doubt that poisoning is intentional, that it is political. Alexey Navalny is one of the main and most dangerous political opponents of the Kremlin. We all know his anti -corruption investigations, and how effective he and his team are even in the elections where they themselves are not allowed. We remember what the effect was from his campaign in the Moscow City Duma, when the Kremlin candidates lost in many ways in almost half the districts thanks to the campaign that he led.
It is still important to note the method of answer. 2003: Novaya Gazeta journalist Yuri Petrovich Shchekochikhin, deputy of the State Duma. He was diagnosed with Layella syndrome - an allergic disease that affects about one person from a million. What should be the probability that this disease amazed a person who is engaged in anti -corruption investigations and is an opposition deputy? Anna Politkovskaya, another journalist in Novaya Gazeta, - she was poisoned when she flew to Beslan. Viktor Yushchenko in the presidential election in Ukraine in 2004. In England, everyone knows the cases of Litvinenko and Skripals perfectly. Two of my poisoning, then - Pyotr Verzilov, now - Alexei Navalny.
As a person who has experienced it twice, I will say: it is very painful. Firstly, it is very painful to worry all this. And secondly, if God let me survive like me, and I really hope that Alexei, then for a very long time I have to return to normal. I learned to go again after the first poisoning. When you are in a coma for a long time, the whole body begins to refuse. Roughly speaking, you need to restore everything again. It's scary.
