In Moscow, the court fined three participants in the procession in memory of the beginning of the Second World War

The Khamovniki District Court of Moscow fined Svetlana Shpakovskaya and Oleg Yushko, participants in the march in memory of the beginning of World War II, 10,000 rubles each and Sergei Sotnik, 20,000 rubles. This is reported by the "Apology of Protest".

The court found them guilty of violating the rules for holding a public event (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) for the action on June 22. Then in Moscow, near Sakharov Avenue and on Myasnitskaya Street, police detained at least 65 people who participated in a mass walk towards the Kremlin to lay flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Earlier, the court fined four more marchers.

• In the Leningrad Region, on June 20, police detained 28 people who had come to lay flowers at the memorial to the fallen on the Nevsky Piglet. The police decided that those gathered at the memorial were carrying out an uncoordinated action.
