On August 19, the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow fined Lyubov Samylova, an eco-activist, for 10,000 rubles. This is reported by the "Apology of Protest", referring to the lawyer Fyodor Sirosh.
The court found Samylova guilty under the article on violation of the rules for participation in the rally (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) due to a single picket that the girl held on October 25, 2019 on Suvorovskaya Square. Samylova came to the rally with a poster “The climate crisis affects everyone. Absolutely".
