More than 1.9 thousand Siberians with coronavirus died

The number of patients with coronavirus in the regions of Siberia exceeded 93 thousand. More than 1.9 thousand patients died.

Coronavirus infection per day was detected in 699 residents of Siberia. The total number of infected has reached 93193, follows from the data of regional headquarters.

In two days, 25 patients died, including seven in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, five each in the Altai Territory and the Omsk Region. In total, at least 1924 Siberians died from the infection.

At the same time, Rosstat data shows that the authorities do not always report coronavirus-related deaths. Most of all, the statistics could be underestimated in the Omsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk regions and Tuva.

In Russia, more than 951.89 thousand infected, 16310 patients died, about 767.47 thousand people recovered. In terms of incidence of coronavirus, Russia ranks fourth, behind the United States, Brazil and India.
