The human rights organization “Apology of Protest” reported a violation of the conditions of detention in special detention center No. 2 of Moscow for Tatyana Moroz, who was arrested for 10 days due to participation in the action. “Apology of Protest” posted information about this on its Telegram channel.
As the human rights organization writes, an ambulance comes to Moroz’s special detention center every day due to a hypertensive crisis (high blood pressure). However, they refuse to hospitalize her.
In addition, non-smoker Moroz is kept in the same cell with smokers. Apology considers such conditions to be torture. The organization notes that Moroz’s condition is worsening every day.
Moroz was arrested on August 21 under the article of failure to comply with the demands of a police officer (Part 1 of Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code) due to the action on August 20 in support of Alexei Navalny, who was hospitalized with signs of poisoning.
Law enforcement officers allegedly demanded that she stop the single picket. At the same time, the video shows that she did not have a poster in her hands, and she was simply talking to the media.
After their arrest, Tatyana Moroz and several other people were taken to the Meshchansky police station. An ambulance came to her. In the end, the police decided to keep her overnight until the trial.
