More than 94 thousand Siberians became infected with coronavirus

The number of patients with coronavirus in the regions of Siberia exceeded 94 thousand. More than 1.97 thousand patients died.

Coronavirus infection per day was detected in 625 residents of Siberia. The total number of infected has reached 94454, follows from the data of regional headquarters.

During the day, 17 patients died, among six in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In total, at least 1965 patients with coronavirus died in Siberia.

At the same time, Rosstat data shows that the authorities do not always report coronavirus-related deaths. Most of all, the statistics could be underestimated in the Omsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk regions and Tuva.

In Russia, more than 961.4 thousand infected, 16448 patients died, about more than 773 thousand people recovered. In terms of incidence of coronavirus, Russia ranks fourth, behind the United States, Brazil and India.
