Another laureate was the festival of contemporary art “48 hours of Novosibirsk”, organized by the Goethe-Institute and the Central Committee 19.

The Novosibirsk artist Artyom Loskutov received the state-owned “Innovation” for a plate from a bench in New York with the names of the head of VTB Andrei Kostin and TV presenter Naili Asker-Zade, who appeared in the investigation of the “Foundation for Combating Corruption” by Alexei Navalny. He called the work "nothing will work without love." Loskutov transferred 1.5 million rubles that he received from its sale at the auction. He won the “Project of the Year” nomination, according to the Prize website. The artist himself said that he did not go to the award ceremony.

The award in the “Regional Project” nomination was awarded to employees of the Central Committee of 19 Peter Zherebtsov and Angelina Burliuk, representatives of Goethe-Institute Peru Brandt, Elena Nosovaya, Mikhail Kazantsev and the curator of the Berlin festival “48 hours of Neukeln” Dr. Martin Shteffens.

As the organizers of the award specified, due to the pandemic unanimous decision by the jury, the prize laureates made all the nominees.

“We share the unprecedented decision of the jury: the competition, in this difficult period for all, would be inappropriate. The festival became the point of restart of our institution, a platform for the start of several city venues, presented the art of Siberian artists and artists to a professional community, ”said the director of the Central Committee 19 Inna Ostroskaya. - The project was created in one world, and became one of the marked “regional projects” already in another. We hope that 2021 will give us the opportunity to correct errors, reduce the gap between the desired and really possible and organize the process so that it contains a space for a full dialogue with curators, artists, associates and opponents. ”

The jury of "Innovation" included experts from Moscow, Stockholm, Paris and Riga.
