We explain whether it is possible to become infected again . Short answer: it seems so . There is at least one reliably proven case of reinfection: a 33-year-old man in Hong Kong fell ill. At the same time, it is impossible to say that immunity is not developed after the first infection: the second time the disease was easier. It is still difficult to say whether it is possible to become infected a third time. But it is already clear that achieving herd immunity with the possibility of re-infection will be more difficult. Although the vaccine should help, because it provides immunity that is different from natural.
Phuket will open to foreign tourists from October 1 . Visitors will have to take two Covid tests and go into quarantine for two weeks. You can come to Phuket for at least 30 days. Unemployment in Russia is growing for the fifth month in a row . Since the beginning of the pandemic, unemployment in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Tomsk Region has increased fivefold, and in the Omsk Region - fourfold.
Russians have become more active in spending money, but retail is still in danger of falling . Over the past week, Russians spent 1.9% more than during the same period in 2019. At the same time, spending on non-food products increased, while spending on food decreased. The crisis caused by the pandemic could lead to the first decline in the Russian retail market in 20 years.

Here's what reader Marina wrote to us:
A year ago I moved to Berlin and soon met a young man named Patrick. We immediately fell in love with each other and began to visit each other on weekends - either I visited him in Austria, or he visited me in Germany. Patrick turned out to be a contemporary artist; at the time we met, he had been working on the project “Berlin - Beirut zu Fuß” (“On foot from Berlin to Beirut”) for a year and a half, the main part of which was supposed to begin on April 1.
On this day, Patrick - along with a stuffed horse on wheels named after Lawrence of Arabia - was to set out on a four-month journey on foot to Beirut. We discussed the route so that I could come for the weekend to different points along the way, shake off Patrick from the road dust, passionately hug him and go home.
On March 16, we went to the dacha for a few days to relax before the big trip and spend time together... and stayed there for almost five months. A weekend romance suddenly turned into living together in a village with almost no people or internet. At the time, we didn’t understand how long the coronavirus would last and, not really believing that it could last for long, we continued to plan.
According to our brilliant plan, Patrick was supposed to arrive at the port of Beirut in the second half of July. We decided to spend a couple of weeks there together and booked a nice hotel near the port. Everyone knows what happened on August 4th . We are very grateful to the coronavirus that Patrick and I now have our second birthday on this day. I'm terribly curious what will happen next.
All the best and more interesting projects, and less time pressure.
We agree on a plush horse on wheels!
