The court in Volgograd examined the cases of the Left Front picketers: one termination and one warning

A court in Volgograd dismissed one administrative case and issued a warning in another case under an article on violating the “self-isolation regime” in connection with pickets by activists from the Left Front. This is reported by the publication "Caucasian Knot".

On May 30, members of the regional branch of the Left Front held a series of solo pickets in Volgograd demanding support for citizens, including material support, during the crisis period. Several people stood in turn at the 7th hospital in the Sovietsky district of the city with posters “We demand real support from the population in a crisis!”, “The way out of the crisis is a turn to socialism!”, “Unemployment benefits - 25,000 rubles!”, “Credit amnesty for the citizens!

On June 17, a protocol was drawn up against Anatoly Nikolaenko, a picket participant. He was taken to the police department under the pretext of holding a preventive conversation, and as a result, a protocol was issued under the article on violation of the “high alert” regime (part 1 of article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). According to the police, the activist of the "Left Front" was at the bus stop "Hospital No. 7" without a mask, which violated the governor's order. According to the activist, they put pressure on him, pointing out that the "Left Front" is under the close attention of law enforcement officers, the "Caucasian Knot" reports.

Nikolaenko explained to the court that he traveled by car, “he drove to the market, bought food, stood at the picket.” He demonstrated using the Yandex.Maps application that he was not near public places, that is, he did not violate the restricted zone in accordance with the governor's decree. On August 28, the Court of the Soviet District of Volgograd terminated the administrative case against Nikolaenko.

The court issued a warning to the Left Front activist Tatiana Pedan, finding her guilty of violating the regime of self-isolation. She was handed the summons to draw up the protocol on June 26: two security officials stood outside her house for five hours until she went to pick up the paper. Pedan told the court that she "did not have the intent to break the rules." On May 30, she "was traveling with her husband on work issues to Volgograd and decided to use the time for a picket in support of citizens left without state assistance," the "Caucasian Knot" reports.
