Semyon Kochkin, a candidate for deputy of the Cheboksary City Assembly, after a meeting with supporters, was handed a summons to draw up an administrative protocol. This is reported by the publication "Idel.Realii".
Kochkin held a rally on August 29 in the form of a meeting with voters. The candidate noted that he sent a notice in advance to the mayor's office of Cheboksary about holding a meeting with voters. In the response telegram, the officials referred to the decree of the acting head of Chuvashia, Oleg Nikolaev, which prohibited public events. Before the start of the meeting, the policeman called the action uncoordinated and demanded that the citizens disperse.
Voters at the meeting called for fair elections, the resignation of the head of the administration of Cheboksary, and also expressed solidarity with the protesters in Khabarovsk and Belarus.
