Police in Moscow detained five participants in the “walk of free people” who were feeding pigeons on Manezhnaya Square. Human rights activist and one of the detainees Inna Kholodtsova reported this to OVD-Info.
Among the detainees are also: Irina Sprygina, Antonina Seregina, Alexander Kassikhin and Alexander Bogachev. From the broadcast that Kholodtsova conducted on Facebook, it is clear that activists tried to create a phrase with the word “Putin” from birdseed. The police explained the detention by saying that they needed to conduct a preventive conversation.
All five were brought to the police department in the Kitai-Gorod district. It is still unknown whether they are going to draw up a protocol on them.
18:10 Protocols are drawn up against the detainees under the article on violation of the rules of participation in public rallies (Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code), reports Inna Kholodtsova.
19:55 All five detainees were released from the police department with reports.
