The Mundee Julia Galyamina was charged with the final edition of the “Dadinskaya” article

The municipal deputy Julia Galyamina was charged with the final edition of the prosecution under the article on repeated violation of the procedure for conducting public events (Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code). This was told by the OTD-Info by lawyer Mikhail Biryukov, representing the interests of Galyamina on behalf of the project.

According to the lawyer, the accusation of the final edition is not very different from the one that Galyaminawas presented during the interrogation on July 31. The text includes the materials of interrogations that the investigation carried out during August, including the interrogation of spokesman Galyamina Nikolai Kasyan. In addition, according to the new edition, Galyamin is accused of organizing the collection of signatures against amendments to the Constitution on July 15 for the purpose of conspiracy - to hide the rally held on this day.

Biryukov also noted that in the text of the indictment there are literal repetitions of the formulations from the text of the indictment in another case of repeated violations on shares - against Konstantin Kotov. In particular, the phrase is repeated that the accused (or, in this case, the accused) committed his acts, "despising the constitutionally protected values."

On September 1, Julia Galyamin should begin to get acquainted with the case. This will mean that the investigative actions are completed.

• Julia Galyamina is charged with six episodes related to violations of the procedure for public events. Four of them dates back to July last year, but only two of them came into force in February 2020. The fifth and sixth episodes are posts in social networks with an appeal to come to the Moscow campaign against changes in the Constitution, which took place on July 15 (before the notification and after refusal to agree on, respectively), the investigation regards this as an organization of an inconsistent event.
• The Galyamina case is the eighth in Russia under Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code. The article punishes for violation of the procedure for public events, if a person has several decisions that have entered into force under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses on relevant violations within six months.
• Last year, under Article 212.1, a civil activist Konstantin Kotov was sentenced to four years. In January 2020, the Constitutional Court decided to revise the verdict, since the court of first instance did not consider the question of what harm was caused by Kotov’s actions and “whether they contributed to the loss of a peaceful public event”. The KS separately noted that imprisonment of 212.1 of the Criminal Code is impossible without the establishment of these circumstances. In April 2020, Kotov’s sentence was reduced to a year and a half, but they did not cancel the sentence.
