The number of coronavirus in Russia exceeded a million people

Over the past day, in Russia, 4,729 new cases of coronavirus infection in 85 regions have been identified, the operational headquarters reports . The total number of identified cases of infection in the country reached 1,000 048.

123 lethal cases were recorded per day. Over the entire period, 17,299 people died from Koronavirus.

Most of the new cases in Moscow-641, St. Petersburg-185, the Moscow region-156, the Rostov region-133, and the Nizhny Novgorod region-132.

Over the past day, 6,318 people recovered, the total number of recovered patients increased to 815 705.

The Chinese authorities reported an outbreak of an unknown virus on December 31.
