The bailiffs blocked the accounts of the Anti-Corruption Foundation founded by Alexei Navalny, presenting a debt for recovery of more than 30 million rubles in favor of businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin. This is reported by MBKh Media, according to the director of the fund, Ivan Zhdanov.
On August 31, the account of the lawyer of the Lyubov Sobol Foundation was blocked due to a debt of 34 million rubles, the newspaper reports . According to Sobol, part of this money was demanded at the suit of the Moscow Schoolboy food plant, and they should go personally to Prigozhin. Another part - in favor of the structures of the Moscow City Hall on claims in connection with the summer actions of 2019.
Earlier it became known that Alexei Navalny and Lyubov Sobol would have to pay personally 88 million rubles to Prigogine in the suit of the Moscow Schoolboy. Whether the money in this lawsuit was recovered from the account of Navalny himself is not yet known.
The decision to pay the Moscow Schoolboy was made at the end of October 2019 by the Moscow Arbitration Court. The plant demanded compensation for lost profits and reputational losses in connection with Sobol's investigation into poor-quality food in children's educational institutions.
Prigozhin, quoted by the press service of Concorde, announced that he intended to "undress and undress the members of this group of unscrupulous people." He clarified that if Navalny, who has been in a coma since March 20 as a result of an alleged poisoning , "gives his soul to God", then he will not pursue the politician "in this world." Prigozhin promised that his lawyers would immediately "start work on the enforcement of debt collection" from Sobol and FBK.
In July, Navalny announced that due to Prigozhin's lawsuit, the fund would have to be liquidated.
