The Krasnodar administration is preventing a rally against non-working elevators

The Krasnodar administration does not allow residents of the Yubileiny microdistrict to protest against elevators that are not working after a major overhaul. This was reported by “Voice of Kuban” with reference to Yana Antonova, a candidate for deputy of the Krasnodar City Duma and ex-coordinator of “Open Russia”.

Officials several times refused to approve the rally at the monument to the Chernobyl victims of Kuban in Yubileiny, and then proposed moving the rally to another area of ​​the city. The mayor's office cited an event planned at that location as the reason for the postponement. The organizers of the rally were members of Yana Antonova’s headquarters. After the refusals, they announced a meeting in the format of a meeting of the candidate for deputy with voters.

Residents of 16 multi-storey buildings are trying to draw attention to the problem of non-functioning elevators. Major repairs with the replacement of elevators began in May, but many buildings are still delaying their commissioning.
