Semyon Kochkin, a candidate for deputy of the Cheboksary City Assembly, was forcibly taken to court for consideration of two cases in connection with campaign cubes, immediately after which he was handed new protocols and taken to another court. This is reported by the " Apology of Protest " in the telegram channel and the candidate himself on his Twitter page.

Semyon Kochkin was detained when he was giving an interview. The candidate was brought to the Moskovsky District Court of Cheboksary for consideration of two administrative cases under the article on the organization of an uncoordinated action (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). He was denied the adjournment of the meeting until the arrival of the defense lawyer and was awarded a fine of 20 thousand rubles for each of the cases.

On August 29, immediately after the meeting with voters, Kochkin was given a summons to draw up a protocol. The police thought he was holding an uncoordinated mass event. The candidate notified the mayor's office of Cheboksary in advance of the meeting, but in response, officials referred to the decree of the acting head of Chuvashia, which prohibited public events.
