For the first time in 20 days, more than five thousand new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Russia per day: 5,110 people fell ill. In total, 1,015,105 people have been infected in the country since the beginning of the pandemic. During the day, 5,812 patients with Covid were discharged from hospitals. Over the entire period, 832,747 people have recovered. 121 people died during the day, for a total of 17,649 people.
Congresses and exhibitions were allowed to be held in Moscow. In the Khabarovsk Territory , all coronavirus restrictions were lifted : mass events were allowed and the self-isolation regime for people over 65 was lifted. In Khakassia and the Chelyabinsk region, restrictions were extended until October 4 and September 20, respectively. Entertainment centers have opened in the Tver region.
