Argentine striker Lionel Messi remains at Barcelona. The player himself said this in an interview with Goal.com.

According to Messi, he will play one more season for the club. He explained this by the inability to pay compensation of 700 million euros, which Barcelona insists on in case of early termination of the contract, and by the unwillingness to go to court.
