The Savelovsky District Court of Moscow imposed two more fines in connection with the collection of signatures against changes to the Constitution, which took place on Pushkinskaya Square on July 15. This is reported by the "Apology of Protest", referring to the lawyer Mansur Gilmanov.

The court found Andrey Volgushev and Varvara Netsser guilty under the article on obstructing traffic (part 6.1 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and fined the activists 10,000 rubles each.

Earlier that day, because of the action on July 15, the Tverskoy Court arrested Andrei Pivovarov, executive director of Open Russia, for 14 days. He was charged with an article on organizing an event that caused interference with infrastructure and transport (part 3 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

On July 15, 2020, actions were planned in a number of cities against the amendments to the Constitution, which entered into force on July 4, giving new powers to the president and allowing Vladimir Putin to again apply for this post in 2024. The local authorities refused to approve the actions. In Moscow, the action first took place in the format of collecting signatures, after which the procession began. According to the CEC, almost 78% of Russians supported the amendments to the Constitution. Sergey Shpilkin, a researcher of Russian election statistics, spoke to the independent media Proekt about possible fraud.
