The leader of the “Together” movement and journalist Yevgeny Domozhirov were detained and left for the night in police department No. 2 under the article on non-payment of a fine (part 1 of article 20.25 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Domozhirov himself writes about this on Twitter.
It began with the fact that Domozhirov was detained by bailiffs, this is reported on the page of the Together movement on VKontakte. Domozhirov reports that he unexpectedly found out that he had been fined for beating a certain Badanin on April 4, and they also wanted to accuse him of failing to appear at the request of the bailiff at the moment when the activist was being treated with his children.
On the page of the movement, they posted a video of Domozhirov, where he says that the bailiffs drew up a protocol on non-payment of the fine against him. In the video, he explains that the demand he was shown stated that he had the right to pay the fine within five days. Nevertheless, the bailiff stated that Domozhirov should go to court with her. Domozhirov refused, because he needed to pick up a child who had finished school, and demanded that otherwise a detention protocol be drawn up against him. The bailiff, in turn, said that the detention protocol would not be drawn up.
Domozhirov, after an altercation with the bailiff, left the institution and went about his business. However, he later said in a video that the bailiffs went after him "in pursuit." Then Domozhirov was stopped, detained and taken to Police Department No. 2.
After that, Domozhirov's wife Olga tweeted that the bailiff informed her about her husband's detention. “In response to the statement that she left a minor child in danger, she said that she would solve this,” Olga Domozhirova said in a statement. From further messages Domozhirova follows that she does not know what is happening with her son, and she will go to look for him .
At police station No. 2, where Domozhirov was taken, they told his wife on the phone that he was not there. Domozhirov tweeted that lawyer Yevgeny Molotov was not allowed to see him. At the moment, it is known that Domozhirov is left for the night, his phone was taken away.
Domozhirov himself links the current persecution with the organization of a march in memory of Sergei Pakholkov, the defender of the square on Yaroslavskaya Street, who died on August 27 in the police department after being detained.
14:20 Yevgeny Domozhirov was taken to court on the morning of September 5, but he became ill in court, and the doctors took him to the hospital in an ambulance, Domozhirov said on his Twitter.
Bailiffs came to Domozhirov's hospital and demanded that the doctors provide them with a certificate of Domozhirov's hospitalization. The doctors suggested that they come on Monday, when they would be able to stamp the certificate.
