Twice as many entrepreneurs choose VTB

Over the seven months of this year, VTB showed a two-fold increase in the number of new clients of medium and small businesses compared to the same period last year. July was the most active month for opening accounts in 2020 – 30,000 entrepreneurs chose VTB as a partner bank. To date, VTB services more than 700,000 settlement accounts for small and medium businesses.

Significant growth is associated both with the active implementation of business support programs and with the development of VTB services. Business representatives can remotely reserve a current account on the bank's website using minimal client data. The decision is made online within a few minutes, after which the client can continue filling out personal data to complete the verification procedure. In addition, individual entrepreneurs* can open an account at the bank's offices within 20 minutes upon presentation of only a passport - the bank will fill out all the necessary documents for the client. VTB also operates the “Onsite Service” ** service, with the help of which the client can open a current account without visiting the bank office - the manager will come to meet with the entrepreneur at a convenient place and time.

Among the regions of the bank's presence, where the demand for VTB services for small and medium-sized businesses is the highest, are Moscow and the Moscow Region, St. Petersburg, the Novosibirsk Region, the Krasnodar Territory and the Sverdlovsk Region.

The doubling of the number of new customers testifies to the demand for our products, the flexibility of service conditions and high customer focus,” commented Denis Bortnikov, Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB.

In March, VTB launched the Tsifra mobile online accounting service, which provides individual entrepreneurs with the opportunity to fully resolve all issues of accounting and tax accounting with guaranteed quality. In August, a new mobile bank for entrepreneurs was introduced with an updated design and functionality for business management. Also, the VTB Business QR mobile application is currently being scaled up, which will allow accepting payments from individuals in favor of organizations or individual entrepreneurs at points of sale via a QR code using the SBP system.
