According to the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergencies on Monday, the search and clearance in the southern part of the village of Molodtsovo began on September 1. The area of the territory on which the area is carried out exceeds 10 hectares; She was divided into boxes for continuous cleaning from explosive objects to a depth of 50 cm, Interfax reports.
It is assumed that the work will be carried out for three weeks, however, due to weather conditions, rescuers may take more time. For residents safety, access to the territory during this period is limited.
According to the administration of the Kirovsky district, from September 2, the emergency regime was introduced in the southern part of the village of Molodtsovo. In a few days of work, more than 30 shells were found.
