Governors, choose them or appoint, find themselves between the celestial and the earth

From Friday to the 13th in the country there will be elections. Bad sign. And what to do? After all, almost two dozen of the heads of regions must be selected. Spit three times through the left shoulder and vote? Or just spit and not walk? Maybe there will be a second round at a more favorable time ...

Where is it, interesting, there will be a second round? Isn't it in Tatarstan? Here the first tour looks superfluous, and in terms of adversarial it is interesting to follow only whether the President of the Republic of Rustam Minnikhanov will surpass his previous result - 94 percent. I remember that his predecessor Mintimer Shaimiev and was gaining 97. True, then in the traditions of local democracy, he went to the polls without a single competitor, and the voter even without points could not miss his tick in the ballot. And Minnikhanov has already four opponents. Someone may be confused in this political diversity and sticks a fountain pen to the wrong place.

As they say in some cases, the names of these four editions are known, but we will not call them. They will not tell the reader anything. Probably, people are good, but it was not heard that they showed themselves large -scale. But here, nevertheless, the president is elected by the president, and not the chairman of the garage cooperative. Yes, it is the president of the state, which, which is the Constitution, is Tatarstan. The republic, the only one of the Russian ones, retained this name of the highest position - contrary to the federal law, which was signed by Dmitry Medvedev.

All republics meekly renamed their presidents, and Tatarstan flatly refused. Moscow prudently did not insist.

The world and consent are more expensive, and if someone recklessly returns to the proclaimed idea “One Country-One President”, then they will rather rename the position of head of Russia, and the president will be left in Tatarstan.

For ten years, President Minnikhanov once appointed the President of Russia, and chose the people the second time. Both are good: in Moscow they know what the people of Tatarstan need, and the people know what Minnikhanov needs. Now he needs to take the presidential chair for the third time, and no objections are clearly expected. Even the Communist Party, the winner of all kinds of Russian elections, this time refused the struggle for power, went aside and did not nominate a candidate. As Lenin taught his associates: yesterday it was early, tomorrow it will be too late. And today you have to go to bed early.

By the way, the Leninians in the Arkhangelsk region also went to bed early, also refused the struggle for the happiness of the people in the governor's elections. But there the people are cheered up by Shies, and the conditions were ripe to climb the armored car with a report on the world-historical meaning of Marxism-Leninism and the doom of predatory capitalism.

In Tatarstan, Shies-2 arose for a short time-so many media managed to name the tent camp in the village of Osinovo near Kazan, where a garbage plant will be built, which, to the joy of patriots and to the chagrin of environmental activists, will add smoke to the Fatherland. But here with opponents of burning garbage they did not stand on ceremony. The camp was mercilessly eliminated by such forces that would be enough for a rebuff of external aggression.

There are no more obvious hot spots in Tatarstan, and local media, as usual, are focused on the biography of the president of the republic. He visited, held, took part, awarded, cut a ribbon ... It was a pretty suspended chair - a sort of wicker cradle on a tripod. Under the lenses, a high guest sat down, appreciated the convenience of the chair and even said that it would be nice for him to be in the office. I joked, probably. Why is he in the office of a country suspension chair? And without that, the chair in which any head of the region is sitting is suspended.

In a sense, in a suspended state, there seems to be a hundred times a proven person sitting under a portrait of the President of Russia. On any day, he can lose his position, and at the same time it is not so important whether he is appointed by the Kremlin, or elected by the local population. And also whether it is led by the territory of the region, edge or even the state. It is difficult to imagine this in the case of successful and ambitious Tatarstan, and Rustam Minnikhanov reliably entrenched in the team of Vladimir Putin, but this has happened to the other almost sovereign republics more than once. The universal formula “Loss of trust” enables the President of Russia to sign a decree on the resignation of the regional leader, not explaining at what point the trust in him was lost and how it remained for many years, finding confirmation in the form of thanks and orders.

Of course, there are many governors, and sometimes Vladimir Vladimirovich does not have time to find a loss of trust in one of them.

So, Leonid Markelov led the Republic of Mari El 16 years old, during which time he was not only the head, but also the president, received orders and medals, and after the resignation he immediately found himself in a pre -trial detention center. He is charged with receiving bribes for 234 million rubles, his property of 2.2 billion rubles was turned into state revenue before the sentence. At the same time, Markelov did not lose the confidence of Putin - nothing of such was reported. But the head of the neighboring Udmurt Republic, Alexander Solovyov, for the same bribery in one day and the person involved in the criminal case, and the president’s confidence was deprived. The paradox of fate: Another Russian governor ceases to be in limbo only when he is reliably imprisoned.
